Certificate of Recognition in Instructional Technologies

Faculty members participating in Instructional Technologies training at SDSU will have the option of formally pursuing a training program leading to a Certificate of Recognition. The Instructional Technologies Certificate will be awarded by the Office of Academic Affairs upon the completion of 40 hours of training and participation through the Instructional Design Services. Cohort experiences and electives will expand and change throughout the year.

IDS maintains transcripts that are available to faculty upon request. If you are interested in pursuing the Certificate of Recognition, please contact IDS for more information.

Required Core Experience - 20 hours (One experience required)
These are contact experiences that require a minimum of 20 hours of engaged participation. The sessions are offered every summer.

Elective Courses - 20 hours required
Faculty can select any combination of courses to accumulate 20 hours. These are contact experiences that require engaged participation. The sessions are offered year round and range from 1/2 hour to full day.
