Impatica is an easy-to-use desktop application that enables simple, hassle-free delivery of PowerPoint presentations over the Internet, by e-mail or via D2L. Impatica supports most of the features of PowerPoint, including text, graphics, transitions, animation effects and, of course, narration. Impatica is a useful tool to produce 'Web ready' standard PowerPoint presentations.
Impatica for PowerPoint converts PowerPoint files into a compressed format that is optimized for Internet delivery, and the file can be as much as 95% smaller than its corresponding PowerPoint HTML file set.
Impatica compresses PowerPoint Presentations to a more "Web-friendly" size even if it includes slide narration.
Once the PowerPoint presentation has been "Impaticized" it can be viewed using a Web Browser without requiring PowerPoint to be installed on the viewer's computer.

PowerPoint 97, 2000/02/03, and 2007 files are supported. The current release of the Impatica for PowerPoint translator runs on Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Vista and Macintosh OS X platforms.

Features

Advantages of Impatica

Requirements
- PC running Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Vista, or Macintosh running OS X
- Sun Microsystems Java Runtime Environment.
- PC users download Java from the Java web site (www.java.com/en/)
- Macintosh users: please update Java through the Software Update.. Option under the Apple menu.
- Sound card and microphone (contact your Computer Support Specialist if you need assistance with audio components).
